Pája

Pája

Czech Teacher

Hello! I’m Pája, a native Czech speaker, born in the countryside but now living in Prague. I’m a spiritual person who loves exploring the depths of the soul and discovering new places, people, and experiences. In my spare time, I practice yoga, love music and singing, enjoy reading, and write—especially poetry. Writing helps me connect with my inner self and better understand what’s happening inside, which enhances my joy in being around both people and animals. My Russian Blue cat, Othello, holds a special place in my heart, teaching me patience and understanding.
What can I offer as a teacher?
You can expect a personal, empathetic approach tailored to your goals. I’ll help you achieve success in Czech through practical communication and a deeper understanding of the language. With my background in bilingual education from a Franco-Czech program, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and will guide you with patience and care.
I’d love to support you on your Czech language journey and make it a rewarding experience.
Katya

Katya

English Teacher

My name is Katya, and I am an English language teacher at Alingua School. I have a rich experience in language learning and practice. I have learned from various teachers, attended courses, and practiced with native speakers. Also, I tried a vast number of methodologies and took international exams. Through my experience, I understood the importance of an individual approach and a student’s interest in the subject. That’s why I threw away all textbooks and created my own teaching style, ensuring that our lessons would never be boring. Currently, I live in sunny Italy, as besides work, I am pursuing my master’s degree at Tor Vergata University of Rome. I am looking forward to the opportunity to share with you all the valuable knowledge and skills I have gained during my studies and teaching. At our school, we enjoy learning the language considering your interests and goals. I invite you to start this exciting journey with me!

Alena

Alena

Spanish Teacher

¡Hola! I’m Alena, I will introduce you to the world of the beautiful Spanish language! I have been speaking Spanish for 6 years, of which I have been teaching for 2 years. Regular practice with my native speaker colleagues and experience exchange with other teachers allow me to study the peculiarities of dialects that I share with students. I live in a Spanish-speaking environment, so I will introduce you not only to the language itself, but also to the most interesting cultural features of Spain and Latin American countries.
¡Vamos a hablar español!

Nel

Nel

English Teacher

“I am going to learn English and will move abroad,” I thought at the age of 16, and that’s exactly what I did. My name is Nel, and I’ve been living in Europe for 7 years now, in Prague, where I received education at an Anglo-American university and worked in five American and English corporations, where I’ve reached a native level of language proficiency. I also perform in English-speaking theaters, write scripts and poetry in English, immersing myself in the cultural environment of the language from within. I will prove to you that speaking English is easy, fun, and that it will change your life! We will talk about your favorite topics, discuss your hobbies, and build your vocabulary, speaking to each other as friends, learning about each other’s crazy (or awkward) stories, actively educating and inspiring each other in a fun and comfortable atmosphere.

Petra

Petra

Czech Teacher

Hi 🙂 I’m Petra and I teach Czech for foreigners and also Czech to Czech students ( preparation for the high school entry exams Cermat) since 2014. I studied and lived in China and after coming back to Europe, I started teaching Czech to Chinese living in Prague and also Chinese to Czech students.
Over years I had students starting at A0 up to B1-2 students, I love languages and teaching them so no matter if you are beginner or  you want to improve your current level, we set up a goal and I’ll guide with patience through learning process. I don’t stick to one source of materials, I use “life” materials such as stand-up comedian videos, news articles, daily situations and combine it with available text books. Currently I enjoy the remote work life and I’m learning German and Italian as I’m very often in these countries, so I fully understand the needs of students to adjust the class schedule due to work and other commitments.

Lera

Lera

English Teacher

Hi! My name is Lera. I’m an English teacher who works with schoolchildren, youth and adults. My journey with English started at the age of 7 when I studied at the specialized language school. During my teenage hood I realized that in the future I want to move to Europe to do my studies and build my career there, so mastering my English became one of my main goals. And here I am, ready to share my knowledge with you now.
In my lessons we speak a lot, watch cartoons and movies, listen to songs and sing them, play games and do quizzes to dive into the English language environment.
I’m a passionate language learner myself. Right now I’m studying Spanish, my 3rd language. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures. Language is the key to understanding other people’s mindset and mentality. If you want to do it with me, come to my classes!
